December 7, 1977 — February 5, 2022

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved daughter, sister, auntie, cousin, niece and grandmother, Tyssa who was called home to our Great Creator on Saturday, February 5, 2022 in Morley, AB at the age of 42 years old. Tyssa was born in Calgary, Alberta on December 7, 1977. Tyssa was the only girl for her dear mother, Mary Jane.

Tyssa received her education and finished Grade 12 at the Canmore Collegiate in Canmore, Alberta. She was humorous, gentle, kind and respected. She was a loving mother figure and took part in raising her nieces, Jarrelene, Colene, Tori and Trisha and nephews, Chad and Tristen.

Tyssa and her mom, Mary Jane were best friends. She will forever be cherished by her nieces, nephews and was Daddy’s little girl from the day she was born. Tyssa was born with Epilepsy and struggled with illness her whole life but didn’t keep her from enjoying life with laughter, making jokes, making everyone smile when they were down and sad.

Tyssa never stopped talking about her Dad since he passed away. She would always talk about the happy times but would cry for him every day with her mom for the past 7 months.

Tyssa loved horseback riding with her late father in her childhood and loved to buy ice-cream with her many nieces, nephews and cousins with their bicycles to the Seebe General Store. Anyone who knew Tyssa, knew she loved the Calgary Stampede Midway and her family members loved attending the Calgary Stampede with her!
