Melissa Blommaert passed away on Monday February 10, 2020 at the age of 33 years.
She is survived by her children, Alice Rae and Charley-Anne; parents, Charles and Lorianne Blommaert; sister, Samantha (Will) Hildebrandt and their children, Jack and Lukas; sister of the heart, Robin Sawers; grandmother, Barbara Joan Davies and a large extended family.
Melissa had a loving and outgoing personality and a desire to protect the environment. Her children were loved greatly and she made sure they were protected and in the right place. Her life was a paradox, conflicted and divided in so many ways. We will miss her but know that she is in a much better place now with family all around.
A Memorial Service was held for Melissa on Monday February 17, 2020.
