Melissa Glynis Laatsch

Melissa Laatsch passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at the age of 46 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 24 years Ingo; parents Edward & Linda Whincup; brothers Anthony (Tannis) Whincup and Sean Whincup; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many more family and friends. Melissa was born and raised in Winnipeg, MB. After moving to Calgary for work, she met Ingo and after a short time they were married. Melissa loved to travel and was able to see many parts of the world including much of Europe and the Galapagos Islands. She was proud of her trip to Churchill, MB for a Polar Bear Tour. Melissa also enjoyed watching the Calgary Flames play and cooking. A Visitation will be held for Melissa at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the same location on Friday, November 3, 2017 at 2:00 pm.
