Maurice Ppin passed away on Friday, December 26, 2014 at the age of 78 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 55 years May; children, Bernadette (Walter) Dumanski, Pierre Ppin (Barb), Luc (Elizabeth) Ppin, Jean-Paul Ppin, Monique Corson, Ray (Adam) Ppin and Nicole Ppin (Doug); 11 grandchildren; one great grandson; siblings, Aline Burnell, Marcel Ppin, Michel Ppin and Phil Ppin; and many more family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents and eight siblings. Maurice was born and raised in Toronto. He met the love of his life May and they were married shortly thereafter. They were blessed with seven children and in 1981 they moved to Calgary which has been his home ever since. Maurice was a man of many talents, and he enjoyed skiing, ice skating, dancing, panning for gold and golfing. A Memorial Service will be held for Maurice at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 11:00 am. If friends so desire, donations may be made to Operation Smile (www.operationsmile.org) or a charity of their choice.
