Maureen Francis Livermore

Maureen Francis Livermore passed away on June 2, 2024, at the age of 83.

Maureen was born on January 15, 1941, in Calgary, Maureen's life was marked by a  career as both a nurse and waitress. Her dedication to caring for others shone through in her roles, earning her respect from many.

Having finished her schooling in Calgary, it was not just her profession that defined her; it was also her fun and lively personality. Described as caring, loving, and funny, Maureen had a way of brightening up any room she entered.

Outside of work, Maureen found joy in simple pleasures like playing Bingo and dancing the night away. These hobbies allowed her to unwind and showcase her playful spirit.

In the circle of family and friends Maureen leaves behind are memories that will be cherished forever. She is survived by her children, Kathy (Dave), Chris, and Sheryl; grandchildren, Travis, Dustin, and Christopher; as well as her sister, Marlis; Maureen's nephew, Drew (Sharon) and best friend, Dorothy Svinth-Lassen.

Maureen is predeceased by her parents, Kay Sherman and Bill Empey; as well as her sister, Barbara. 

In celebrating Maureen's life, let us remember the joy she brought to each of us and carry that forward as we navigate our own paths ahead. May she rest in peace knowing that she made an impact on all those around her.
