Mary Louise Hinkl

On Monday, June 16, 2025 Louise Hinkl, beloved wife of the late Erwin Hinkl, of Calgary, Alberta passed away at the age of 87 years. 

Louise's home was her hobby, pride and joy. Her passion was her family. 

Louise is survived by her daughter Michele; grandsons Melvin (Leah), Denver (Karinna), step grandson Nathan (Donna); great-grandson Orion; brothers Bert (Nancy), Melvin (Glenna), George (Sidney); sisters Donna (Rick), Marie (Dennis), Candius (George); siblings-in-law Lorna (Lorne); and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Besides her loving husband Erwin, Louise is predeceased by her parents Frances and Prosper DeKelver, sister Patricia (Ron) Hillworth, son-in-law Lonnie Kjenner-Demchuk, and siblings-in-law Irene (Richard) Vopat. 

A service will be held for Louise at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at Pierson's Funeral Service, (4121 - 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) 

We thank everyone for their wishes and their interactions with Louise over the course of her life. She was truly the Matriarch of the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks the donations be made in Louise's name to The Veterans Association
