Mary Elizabeth (Elsie) Gorr, age 95 of Calgary, Alberta passed away on February 6, 2018. Elsie was born on December 30, 1922 in Londonderry, Ireland to Catherine Anne (Boggs) and David Alexander Simpson. She married Victor Gorr who precedes her in death. Elsie had many hobbies which included paper tole, knitting, sewing, crocheting baking and gardening. She is survived by her children, Beverely Moore (Harvey), Marilyn Turner (Frank), Clifford Gorr (Eileen), Barry Gorr; grandchildren, Cheryl, Rod, Launa, Jason, Kevin; several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Elsie is also preceded in death by her parents; 6 brothers and 2 sisters. A Memorial Service and inurnment will take place in the spring.
