Marlene Analine Snow

Marlene Snow (nee Williams) passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at the age of 69 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 19 years Gordon; children Bill and Collean; step children Levi and Elaine; grandchildren Jessie, Kyla, Elizabeth and Matthew; brother Lyle (Lorene) Williams; sister Georgean Olsen; numerous nieces and nephews and many more family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Clate & Nellie Williams and 8 siblings. Marlene was born in Medicine Hat, AB and raised in Arrowwood, AB. After finishing her schooling years, she moved to Calgary which has been her home ever since. Marlene enjoyed her work as a billing clerk for a couple of different trucking companies over the years, but her other passion was playing the piano. She was a very talented pianist and gave piano lessons to many over the years. Marlene will be remembered as a kind hearted loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. A Visitation will be held for Marlene at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 1:00 – 2:00 pm. A Graveside Service will then take place on the same day at Rocky View Garden of Peace Cemetery (243208 Garden Road NE, Calgary) at 2:30 pm.
