Reynolds, Marjorie Louise – September 22, 1934 – October 6, 2014 – Calgary, Alberta. It is with heavy hearts that the family of Marjorie (Marge) announces that Marge passed away peacefully at the Salvation Army Agape Hospice on October 6, 2014. She is survived by her loving husband Lovell Young, her son Kevin Jordan (Lana), daughter Twyla Wieners (Ian), Grandchildren Douglas Jordan (Karen), Kelly Jordan, Matthew Jordan, Kaitlan Jordan, Travis Jordan (Patricia), Troy Jordan (Melissa) and Tennille Meadors (Paul). She is survived by her great grandchildren, Mathus, Keanna, Willem, Nickolas, Lucas, Hailey, Charlize, Gavin, Olivia, Quinn, Austin, Madison and Greyson. She is also survived by her brothers, Kenneth Calder and Douglas Calder (Dawn) along with her nephews and nieces. Marge was predeceased by her parents Kenneth Calder, Nelsen and Doris Calder, her sons Keith Jordan, Kenton Jordan and her grandson Ryan. Marge was born in Deloraine, Manitoba, she was raised in Manitoba and has also lived in Whitehorse, Yukon, British Columbia and Ontario until settling in Alberta where she made her home for the past 20 years. Mom had a wide and varied career, doing everything such as operating a switchboard for telephone companies and in the mining industry. She also owned her own catering business, restaurants and arts and craft stores as well as working for Whitehorse Transit as a bus driver. When she settled in Calgary she started a new career as a home care worker, a job that she loved. Marge was a kind, caring compassionate person who always was there to lend a hand to anyone in need. Marge also spent a great deal of her time educating people about the religious sect that she was raised in and was instrumental in helping people get out. As a consequence she will always be remembered as a mentor and beloved friend to many people. She took to computing in her later years and enjoyed her many computer friends that she met while playing her favorite game “Farmtown”. Funeral service will be held at ST. Stephens Anglican Church, Friday, October 17th at 1:00 PM with the Reverend Clara King officiating. Interment to follow. The church address is 1121 – 14th Avenue SW, Calgary, Alberta. A lunch will be served after the service. In lieu of flowers donations to the St. Stephens Church Inn from the Cold program will be gratefully accepted.
