It is with great sadness that the family of Maria Demelo announces that she passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at the age of 83 years. Maria leaves behind her son Jose Manuel (Maria); and her grandson Marco. She is also survived by a niece; grand nephew; and numerous God children, as well as many other family and friends. Maria will be forever remembered and loved by her family and those that knew her. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church (4747 – 30 Street SE) on Monday, October 6, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Francisco Alberto P Silva, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens, Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery.
