Maria Lah passed away peacefully at home on January 2, 2013 at the age of 79. She will be dearly missed by her husband Danilo Lah; three children Dan Lah (Christine Wan) of Calgary, Ruben Lah (Birgit) of S. Jordan, UT and Silvana Phillips (Colin) of Airdrie; five grandchildren Quinton, Nathan and Jordan Lee, and Roman and Danielle Lah; a great-granddaughter Christina Lah; four siblings Elisabeth, Barbara, Franz and Anna; and a large extended family. Maria was predeceased by a daughter Angela Lee; and two grandchildren Vincent and Riana Phillips. A funeral service will be held in Maria’s honour at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Reunion Chapel, (I will insert address here) on Monday, January 7th at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in the Airdrie Cemetery. Messages of condolence may be forwarded to the family at www.piersons.ca. Arrangements are in care of PIERSON’S FUNERAL SERVICE. Telephone 403 235-3602.
