Margaret Thiel

Margaret Thiel passed away on Sunday May 10, 2026 at the age of 85 years. 

Margaret was born in Hamburg, Germany. In 1967, she immigrated to Canada with her husband, Joachim and young family. She was a devoted wife and mother. When the children were older, she took up several jobs working mostly in food production and customer service. 

Margaret is survived by her two sons; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Joachim. 

A Celebration of Life for Margaret will take place at Pierson's Funeral Service (4121 - 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Saturday June 6, 2026 at 2:00pm.
