Manfred Kampmann passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at the age of 85 years.
Manfred is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Heidemarie; son, Ralph (Charlene); grandchildren, Ashley (Jon), Tyler & Ryan (Caitlin); six great-grandchildren, Aiden, Tadum, Kayley, Oliver, Jaams & Brittney. He is predeceased by his son, Michael and was the last surviving of his 6 siblings – five sisters and one brother.
Manfred worked for many years as a carpenter. Then upon his retirement he would still do jobs for his family fixing and building things for them around their homes. He was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather.
Donations may be made in Manfred’s name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
A Celebration of Manfred’s Life will be held at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Wednesday September 20, 2023 at 2:00 pm.
