Lorne made his journey to the spirit world on Thursday December 15, 2022 at the age of 46 years.
Lorne attended The Morley Community School and Exshaw School. Later on, he went to Olds College where he received his Heavy Equipment Operator’s License. He was employed in various departments for The Stoney Tribal Administration and worked as a seismic worker.
Lorne honored his traditional teachings, participated in sports like baseball, hockey, 8 ball pool. He worked the rodeo as a boy steer rider and loved camping and hunting.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his mother, Delia; stepfather, Roland Rollinmud; sons, Davis and Travis; brothers, Orneil, Lane (Erica) and Kenton; sisters, Amanda (Anil), Trisina, Maui (Tim) and Lillian; adopted sisters, Margaret (Terry), Marcie (Dave), Heather (Kelly); uncles, Clifford (Bernadette) and Leo; aunties, Karen (Harry), Jennifer (Bruce), Marilyn (Mathew), Maxine, Linda (Marty), Mary, Delphine; adoptive family Marvin Big Plume & Family, Randy and Amanda Big Sorrel Horse, special nieces, Kassidy and Paradise; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Lorne was predeceased by his father, Jerry (May 2015); grandmother, Lucy (October 2014); cousins, Tyrone (May 1994), Darryl (October 2008); brother, Joel Kootenay; and brother-in-law, Rusty Coyote.
Wake Services will be held at the residence of Lorne in Morley, AB on Tuesday December 20, 2002 and Wednesday December 21, 2022.
Funeral Services will be on Thursday December 22, 2022 at the Bearspaw Youth Centre at 11:00am
Graveside Service will take place at Good Stoney Cemetery
