Born in Halifax, NS; he passed away peacefully at home after a battle with cancer, with his loyal canine companion, Spook, by his side. Lorne had a fondness for his classic cars, quadding, and dirt biking but his most joy came from sitting around his backyard campfire just shooting the breeze with his great friends and Spook. He loved to tease, especially his nieces and nephews. Lorne was predeceased by his father Raeford in 1983 and mother Joice in 1999. He will be greatly missed by his surviving family, sister Susan (Bill) McNabb of Calgary, brothers John (Lorna) Cowley, Gerald (Lynne) of Calgary, nieces and nephews, Jeffery, Matthew, Joyce, Jay, Randall, James, Tammy, Michael and Sarah, as well as his family in the Maritimes. Cremation has taken place. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Tom Baker Cancer Center or the Leukemia Lymphoma Society.
