Linda Lenore Heninger
April 11, 1930 — February 16, 2023
Linda Lenore Heninger passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at the age of 92 years. She is survived by her son Eugene Heninger; daughter Donna Rose; grand-daughter Rachel Swanson (Bob) of North Dakota; and four great-grandchildren. Linda was predeceased by her husband Raymond Heninger in 1985; three step-children Darryl, Colin and Gillian; and all of her siblings Marie Gardiyash, Doris Peterson, Olga Sadoway, Ann Sorochan, John Demanchuk and George Demanchuk.
Linda was kind, generous and gracious. She thought of others before herself and helped many people throughout her life. She taught elementary school briefly and then attended training in Lamont, AB to become a Lab Technician. Linda had a love of children and animals and will be dearly missed.
A Funeral Service will be held for Linda at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints – Tipton Road Chapel (5927 Tipton Rd NW, Calgary) on Friday, February 24, 2023 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens. If friends desire, memorial tributes may be made to Alzheimer’s Society of Calgary. Special thanks are extended to our family members and Linda’s Church community for their care and support through her declining years. A live broadcast of the service may be found at
