Linda Jane Miller

Linda Miller passed away surrounded by her family on Monday, January 7, 2019 at the age of 70 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Greg (Jessica) Dempsey, Lisa (Tim) Smith, Steven (Danielle) Dempsey and David Dempsey; nine grandchildren Haisya, Reegan, Jacob, Brooke, Faith, Nathan, Amber, Joshua and Aria; sister Suzanne Pierce; nephew Thomas Pierce; Niece Rebecca Pierce; and many more family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Harry & Alice Sabean. Linda was born in St Stephen, NB and raised in NB and NS. She came to Alberta in 1978 and has lived here ever since. Linda was a teacher and loved her job, as she truly enjoyed working with children throughout her life. She loved music and enjoyed playing the piano and organ and singing. She also enjoyed playing cribbage, the outdoors and really loved being in the water. Her greatest passion though, was her family. Her four children and nine grandchildren were the light of her life. Linda’s family would like to thank the staff of Dulcina Hospice for their exceptional care of their mom and grandma. A Memorial Service will be held for Linda at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints – Confederation Park Stake Center (7017 California Boulevard NE, Calgary) on Monday, January 14, 2019 at 11:00 am.
