Linda Darlene Rigo

Linda Rigo passed over on Sunday, September 15, 2019 at the age of 64 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 23 years Sandor; daughter Amber Phalen; sister Deb (Keith) Rhodes; brother Kevin (Robin) Bird; sister-in-law Mel Bird; niece Jessica Baker; and many more family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Ken & Jessie Bird and brother Ken Bird. Linda was born in Ponoka, AB. She was born into a military family and spent her youth on bases mostly in Edmonton and Germany. She finished her growing up years in Calgary, which has been her home ever since. She studied Interior Design at Mount Royal University and eventually launched her own design and contracting business. She was most inspired in later years by her work as an Animal Communicator and was well respected in the community for her incredible ability to connect with animals. As a self-professed introvert, Linda enjoyed sewing, quilting, baking and reading. A Memorial Reception will be held for Linda at the Calgary Canoe Club, North Glenmore Park (7305 Crowchild Trail SW, Calgary) on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 1:00 – 4:00 pm.
