Lewis J Smith passed away at home in Calgary, AB on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at the age of 84 years. He was born in Arthurette, NB on Sept 29, 1941. As a child he worked in the lumber camps but hitchhiked to Alberta at 14. He worked as a farm worker for a while then long haul truck driver and cat operator until he retired. Lewis was an avid card player, off roader and successful 4x4 racer. He will sadly missed by his friends and family.
No formal service will be held. Cremation at Foothills Crematorium.
