Letecia Balinsoy Bacdayan

Letecia passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2022 at the age of 83 years.
She was born in Tublay, Benguet, Philippines. Letecia was a very quiet woman who enjoyed shopping, reading her Bible, and listening to Christian music. She liked going for a walk to appreciate the outdoors. Most importantly, she loved her children. She adored her grandchildren and always read Bible stories to them. She spent as much time with her children and took care of her grandchildren at every opportunity. Letecia will be dearly missed by all who know her.
Letecia is survived by her children, Naty-Jesus Sr. Balagne, Helen-Moses Bucagan, Celso-Myrna Bacdayan, Marlyn-Benio Walsi-en, Mila-Jose Espiritu, Winnie-Jason Baldos, Perla-Robert wong, Veronica-Orville Marana; grandchildren, Jenarad, Jesus Jr., Abegail Sodario Balagne, Hazel, Karen-Jim Ladyong, April, Steven, Kenneth, Maribel-Toshiro Kiwang, Marvin-Florence Obata, Michael-Rizzabelle Santos, Justine, Jomil, Jennifer, Jayson Paul, Jessica Jane, Jacky Charles, Joshua, Monsuier Raulo, Emmanuel Joshua, Valerie Jayhne; great-grandchildren, Jenelle, Davin, Kendrick Ivan, Jansen Sean, Jenicka, Jhiren Pearl, Khian Kenshin, Marv Kayden, Mike Raizen; siblings, Mauricio Tello-Virginia Tambic Paquito, Defin-Ellen Balinsoy, Sabas-Norma Balinsoy.
Letecia was predeceased by her husband, Esteban Bacdayan; daughters, Naty and Helen; sons-in-law, Moses Fred Bucagan and Benio Walsi-en; siblings, Nenita -Felipe Canlas, Paquito-Avilina Balinsoy, Peter-Angeline Pocdas.
A Public Visitation will be held for Letecia at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m
A Funeral Service will be held for Letecia at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Friday, January 20, 2023 at 10:00 a.m.
A Graveside Service will follow at Rockyview Garden of Peace (243208 Garden Rd, Calgary) with a reception to follow.
