Leslie June Winter, 56 passed away suddenly on July 20th, 2024. Sadly she went ‘Walking after Midnight’ (her favorite Patsy Cline song) and passed away in her sleep.
She was born in Hamilton, Ontario in September 1967. Leslie was full of life from a young age and was always the life of the party. She grew up in St. Albert and then moved to Calgary with her two young daughters. Ten years later her son Dylan was born and was the apple of her eye. She loved him more than anyone could understand. She was a young single mom who raised her kids with every ounce of her ability and loved her family fiercely. Over the years she moved to Kamloops for school and back to Calgary working on her interior decorating business. If you knew Leslie, you knew she had an eye for decorating, loved singing and she bragged about her kids and grandkids at every opportunity - she was very proud of all of them. She was taken too soon and will be deeply missed, but we find comfort knowing she has reunited with her mom, who she missed deeply; husband, Chuck; and her best dog, CheeChee.
Survived by her father, Stan; children, Ashley (Adam), Katie (Mike), and Dylan; grandchildren, Mason, Skyla, Araya, Ava and Austin; siblings, Howie (Cathie), Krista (Jeff) and Kyle (Christine); nieces, Marina and Jade with their kids, Lincoln, James and one on the way (that she was so excited to meet), Caitlyn, Neveyah and nephew, Kyrie. Predeceased by her mom, Lynn (2013) and husband, Charles (2020).
We love and miss you so much already mom.
Gone but never forgotten!!!!! Xoxo
The Celebration of Leslie’s life will be held at her daughter’s house on August 10th, 2024. Please contact Ashley for details, 403-829-0634.
