Leonard McGillis passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022 at the age of 75 years. Leonard was born in Willow Bunch, Sk to parents; Alphie and Geordie McGillis. He worked as an iron worker for most of his life. Leonard was a big fan of the outdoors. his hobbies included hunting, fishing, camping, watching movies and playing pool with his friends.
Leonard will be greatly missed by his Sons Lance (Gina) and Dustin Flamand. His grandchild; Darwin Flamand. Leonard will also be missed by his Brother; Andy. Leonard is pre-deceased by his Son; Clint Flamand. He is also pre-deceased by his brothers; Roy, Robert, Henry, Edward, George and Danny, and his Sisters; Vivian, Rose-Alma, Emerance, Anita, Jackie, Lawrence and Doreen.
A Funeral Service will be held for Leonard at Pierson’s Funeral Service (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Friday, July 22, 2022 at 2:00 pm.
