Lee Cheryl Luddington

Lee Luddington passed away at Chinook Hospice in Calgary on Monday August 31. She was 73 years of age.

Lee will be lovingly remembered by her children, Tonya Pacheco (John Homen) of Etobicoke, ON, Allan Pacheco (Shannon Jackson) of Calgary, AB, Dawn (Christian) Armstrong of Winnipeg, MB, Cynthia Luddington (Douglas Fischer) of Airdrie, AB, Stephanie Luddington (David Elder) of Saskatchewan; loving partner, Leonard Skinner of Calgary, AB; 24 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; her brother, Stewart (Marilyn) Robertson. She is predeceased by her parents, Gwendoline & Robert Robertson; and two of her children, Neil Pacheco & Jeremy Pacheco. She will be missed by many extended family and friends.

Lee Luddington was born in London, England. At age 4, she took a boat to Montreal, Canada, and then a train to Ontario, where she lived most of her life. She was a honour student throughout her schooling. Lee's favourite colour was green. The number seven was her lucky number and she loved liver and onions with with brussels sprouts. She enjoyed her Sunday morning oldies that included hits from Elvis, Kenny Rogers, Chubby Checker, Shania Twain and Dolly Parton. She worked as a chef in daycares. In her free time, she enjoyed thrift shopping and garage sales, going for a game of bingo, and also watching her game shows. There was never a crossword puzzle she couldn't complete. She was a perfectionist!!!

Recently, Lee mentioned that her "happy place" was Chinook Hospice and the family would like to thank all the staff who took care of her during her time there. A special thank you to Lee's homecare nurse Jodie and all the palliative care staff.
