Krystine Marie Wilson
August 3, 1985 — January 28, 2022
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dear Krystine Marie Wilson (nee Fletcher) on January 28 in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 36. Krystine is survived by her loving husband Kent, daughter Halle and son Max; parents Dave and Bernadette Fletcher; sister Courtney Nelson, husband Travis and kids Bentley and Everly; and grandparents Mary and Alex Horvath; and predeceased by grandparents Eugene and Jean Fletcher. She is also survived by Kent’s parents, Gordie and Brenda Wilson; sister-in-law Genene Wilson and kids Taylor and Sabastian and grandparents Katie and Bud Scott. She was predeceased by Gordie’s parents Woodrow and Dorothy Wilson.
Krystine excelled at all forms of dance and spent much of her youth at the studio, often dancing with her sister Courtney. She enjoyed the fun and friendship, winning many awards along the way.
Krystine met Kent in 2005 and they were married two years later. They lived in Rocky Mountain House and Leslieville for a short time before welcoming daughter Halle Bernadette into their lives. Soon after, they moved to Calgary and expanded their family with son Max Gordon. As a family they enjoyed camping and spending time with their extended family and many friends. Krystine’s kindness and compassion was exemplified by her commitment to animal rescue and fostering dogs in need, as well as her efforts with the Calgary Farmyard. Krystine loved life and her family dearly. Her bright smile would light up every room she entered and she was quick to offer a helping hand whenever one was needed.
Krystine will be deeply missed by Kent, Halle and Max and all her family and friends.
The service for Krystine Marie Wilson will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at the Carriage House Inn, 9030 Macleod Trail South, Calgary, Alberta. A reception will follow the service from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the same location. The service will be livestreamed for those that are unable to attend in person via the following link:
