It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father Kirkland James Gordon “Kirk” born on August 11, 1953 in St. Ann, Jamaica. Aware of the loving presence of his family, he passed away peacefully at home in Calgary on Saturday, June 02, 2012 after a long battle with cancer. Kirk is survived by his loving wife Jennifer; son O’neil; daughters Mary-Ann, Teddi, and Bailey; granddaughter Nevaya; eight sisters; two brothers; numerous nieces and nephews; and many more family and friends. He is predeceased by his parents, Beryl and James Gordon, and sister, Sylvia. To each relationship, Kirk was a source of unconditional love and wisdom.
