Kenneth Vance Braa

Braa, Kenneth Vance April 26, 1961- June 8, 2014 Ken Braa, beloved father and brother, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2014 in Victoria B.C. Ken is remembered with love by his son James, and James’ mother Agnes of Nanaimo BC. He is also remembered by his two sisters, Helen Braa and Linda Rogers (Ken) of Calgary and their children, Stephanie, Stephen and Geoffrey; and his brother David Braa (Joan) of Hinton AB and their children, Addison and Kathleen.Ken was predeceased by his parents Kay and Ray Braa and a twin brother, Keith. Ken was born and raised in Calgary, but spent the majority of his adult life on Vancouver Island. A Memorial Service (with reception to follow) will be held at Rocky View Garden of Peace Chapel(16 Ave & Garden Road N.E.) on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 11:00a.m. with Reverend Jagdutt Singh of St.Barnabas Anglican Church officiating. Interment to follow at Rocky View Garden of Peace Cemetery. If so desired, memorial donations may be made in Ken’s name to the Alberta Heart and Stroke foundation, 100, 119-14 St.N.W. Calgary, AB T2N 1Z6 or to the Victoria Mustard Seed, 625 Queens Ave, Victoria BC V8T 1L9.
