Kenneth John Schlinker Jr., beloved uncle and cousin, has left a deep void in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. Born in St. Catharine's, Ontario, in 1972, John brought joy and laughter wherever he went. His courageous and witty personality shone through in all aspects of his life.
Throughout his time on this earth, John cultivated a reputation for being strong, brave, and endlessly funny. Beyond his professional endeavors as a security guard, Kenneth found solace and happiness in simple pleasures such as gaming with friends, cooking up a storm in the kitchen, and immersing himself in the great outdoors through camping adventures.
John's true passion, however, lay in his unwavering dedication to his family. Nothing brought him greater joy than spending quality time with his loved ones, cherishing each moment spent together. In the hearts of his mother, Elaine and siblings, Tammy (Neil) & Darryl (Laura), John's memory will live on as a beacon of love and togetherness.
While John may have departed from this world, he leaves behind a legacy of laughter, strength, and familial devotion that will endure for generations to come.
In addition to his immediate family, John is survived by his grandparents, Elsie & Robert; aunts & uncles, Harry (Marsha), Doug, Mark (Ruby ) and John Henry; along with a multitude of friends whose lives were forever changed by his presence. He is predeceased by his father, Ken and aunt, Marlene.
The Schlinker family wish to thank John's employer and close friend, William; his brave and thoughtful roommate, Anna along with the paramedics, doctors and staff at Foothills Medical Centre for all their caring support of John. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
May John rest in peace knowing that he was truly loved and will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
