Kathleen Melville

Kathleen Melville passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at the age of 67 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Debby Melville (Willi), Brenda Jorgenson (Blaine) and Kelly Hollick (Todd); grandchildren Cassandra, Katrina and Kevin; sister Mary Kovacs and many more family and friends. Kathleen was born in Hungary and as a child her family immigrated to Canada and made Abbotsford their home. She lived in a number of different places but for the last few years, Calgary has been home. She is the proud mother to three daughters and grandmother to three grandchildren. She loved spending time with her family and her daughters describe her as the “ultimate grandmother.” A celebration of Kathleen’s life will be held at her daughter, Debby’s, home, 15 Mardale Crescent NE, Calgary, on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Foothills Hospital Foundation, 1403 29 Street NW, Calgary, AB T2N 9Z9.
