Katherine Ehret

EHRET, Katherine “Kay” April 18, 1930 – November 7, 2014 Mrs. Katherine Ehret, of Airdrie, Alberta passed away on Friday, November 7, 2014 at the age of 84 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard, in May of 2008. Kay was a hardworking wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She took pride in a job well done, keeping a beautiful home, and spending time with family. Kay is survived by three sons, Lewis Stowell, John (Lilly) Stowell, and Lee (Diane) Stowell; two daughters, Pat (Archie) Lang and Carol (Brad) Spence; ten grandchildren, Robin, Dean, Nick, Natalie, Adam, Erin, Cam, Joel, Brittany, and Amy; and ten great-grandchildren, Cash, Teighan, Everett, Madi, Sam, Dex, Cooper, Kodi, Trayden, and Kayslie. She is survived by her sisters, Lucy, Vern, and Rose; and brothers, Tony and John. Kay was predeceased by four siblings, Jake, Beth, George, and Maggie. Prayer Services will be held at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel, 4121 17 Avenue SE, Calgary, on Wednesday, November 12, from 7:00-9:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Ascension Catholic Church, 1100 Berkshire Blvd. NW, Calgary, on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at 11:00 am. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
