Katherine Brown

It is with heavy heart that we announce the passing of Katherine Brown. Whether as a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sibling, aunt or friend; she has the magical power to make you instantly feel of her sincere love and caring for others. Her’s was a life of service and in return, she is loved by all who got to know her.

Through her kind soul and influence over all she touched, she leaves having done her part to make this world a better place.

Whether as a business owner or District Manager with Woolco Department Stores, she enjoyed great success in whatever she did. In large part, this is due to her ability to connect with people.

A special thanks to all of those that prayed and kept in contact with her, whether by phone or in person.

She is lovingly remembered by her sons, Dale Boehm, Dwight Boehm; Grand children, Stephen Boehm and Christine Boehm; great grand daughters Athena Bishop and Taryn Stickelmier; her most special dog Baxter; siblings Ann Davidson, Peter Petz (Betty Anne), Johnny Petz (Delores), Nick Petz (Rosemarie), Jim Petz (Anne), Marjorie Wagner (Arnold), Steve Petz (Joan), (Carol Petz); and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

She was predeceased by her son, Murrey Boehm; Mother and Father – Alex and Rose Petz; siblings George Petz (Ann), Mary Zitaruk (John), Elsie Pugsley (Phil), Doris Hnatyshyn (Bill), Margaret Hooper (Gerald), (Ray Davidson), Victoria Petz and David Petz.

A Funeral Service will be held for Katherine at Pierson’s Funeral Service (4121 17 Ave SE, Calgary) on Friday, December 6, 2019 at 2:00 pm.
