Karl Heinz Herrmann

Karl Herrmann passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at the age of 96 years.

He is predeceased by his loving wife of over 60 years at the time of her passing, Kathy. He is survived by his daughter, Magdalena (Jurgen ) Alberti; 3 granddaughters, Tammy (Damian) Piper, Cherie (Mark) Williams & Denise (Brad) Alberti; and 3 great-grandchildren, Darren & Matthew Williams and Sebastian Alberti.

Karl was born in Leipzig, Germany and immigrated to Canada in 1957. He owned and operated Marlborough Reinforcing for over 20 years and contributed to the construction of many of Calgary’s longstanding high rise buildings. Karl loved fishing and the outdoors. Prior to his health taking its toll, he was an involved and active grandfather and family man. The Herrmann family spent many a Sunday meal together bonding and enjoying each others company. At this time, there will no formal funeral ceremony.
