On Tuesday, August 10, 2021 Mrs. Julia Alvarez, beloved wife of Jose Fredy Alvarez of Airdrie, Alberta, passed away at the age of 67 years.
Julia loved to go camping and garage sales. She also loves swimming, Chinese food, spending time with friends and family. Julia worked as a janitor in various golf clubs in northwest Calgary most of her life. She loved helping anyone in need. Julia had a passion to travel to El Salvador and at various times she would deliver various items for the children there. Her favourite shows were the ones with paranormal activities. She was a woman that loved colourful things and flowers. Some of her favourite things were wearing long skirts, coffee with pastries, and telling stories to everyone. Julia’s biggest passion were her dear grandchildren.
Besides her loving husband Jose, Julia is survived by her children Tarin E Alvarez (daughter) of Airdrie, Alberta, Jose Fredy Alvarez Jr. (son) of Airdrie, Edwin Yovani Alvarez (son) of Calgary, Ana Julia Alvarez (daughter) of Calgary, Ginalyn Sotero Pagarigan (daughter-in-law) of Calgary; and her grandchildren Edwin Jose Alonso Lopez of Calgary, Alexander Alonso Lopez of Calgary, Emparatriz Michelle Mcbee of Airdrie, Christian Jeovanny Alvarez Pagarigan of Calgary, Daniel Rodolfo Alvarez of Windsor, Ontario, and Jacob Jose Alvarez of Windsor.
A Funeral Service will be held at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel, 4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary on Monday, August 30, 2021 at 3:00 p.m.
