Judith May Mccrystal

November 20, 1943 — November 5, 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Judy May McCrystal after a short, but intense battle with cancer on Sunday, November 5, 2023 at the age of 79 years.

Judy was a kind, generous, and fun loving soul who graced this world with her presence for 79 years. Judy left us to join her beloved husband of 52 years, Gordon McCrystal; and grandson, Mitchell McCrystal who preceded her in death.

Judy’s legacy lives on through her three children, Danette, Mark and Tammy. Her love and wisdom will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of her grandchildren, Chalci (Curtis), Brandon, Kenedi, Jaiden, Ariel, Rose, Brittany, Ashley and Jordan (Jory); and Judy’s great-grandchildren, Millie, Daemon, Lilah, Kinsley, Jade and baby Joshua.

Judy was born and raised in Saskatchewan by her loving parents Beatrice and Albert Smith. Growing up as a family of eight, Judy was a wonderful big sister to her twin brother Jim; and younger siblings Stan, David, Darryl and Donna. Judy loved being at the beach. She spent many summers enjoying the beach lifestyle at Regina Beach. Judy and her family moved to Swift Current, SK for several years. They then moved to Lethbridge, AB living there for more than 25 years.

Judy was a true snow bird, who enjoyed spending her winters in the warmth of California. Southern California was her safe, happy place.

Judy’s kindness, generosity and wit touched the lives of many; leaving a lasting impression of everyone she encountered. Her memory will forever warm our hearts.

Hopefully, Judy and Gord are jiving together again <3
