Ed Chappell passed away on Monday, March 25, 2013 at the age of 66 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his life partner Irma Castillo; children Dsire Chappell, John (Gina) Chappell, both of Calgary, AB, and Paula Chappell of Machala, Ecuador; five grandchildren including Andrew, Grace and Teresa, all of Calgary; siblings Vilma (Enrique) Flores-Galindo of Lima, Peru, Elba Chappell Chavea of Madrid Spain, Carmela (Esteban) Tosoni of Portland, OR and J.L. “Johnny” Chappell of Madrid, Spain; and many more family and friends. He was predeceased by his sister Mirtha Chappell Chavez. Ed was born and raised in Callao, Peru. When he was 33 he moved to Calgary where he has lived ever since. He loved listening to music, dancing and the outdoors. His greatest love was spending time with his family and friends. The family will be holding a Private Family Service at a later date.
