Joyce Pauline Lewis

After a long battle with cancer, it is with a heavy heart and great sadness we announce the passing of Joyce Lewis on Sunday, August 7, 2022 in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 84 years. Thanks to the loving support of her granddaughter Nicole, she passed away peacefully at the Agape Hospice.
She is survived by three daughters Charlene Foreman, Joyce C. Lewis, Pearl Lynn Nielsen; her brother Hubert “Sonny” Hicks and their families; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Joyce was predeceased by her husband Arthur Oliver Jacob Lewis; and five children Bernadette Schuldes, Diane, Joseph, Kim, and Tracy Lewis.
A Funeral Service will be held at Pierson’s Funeral Home (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Friday, August 12 at 3:00 pm. Cremation will follow. If friends desire, memorial donations may be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation, www.albertacancer.ca.
