Joseph Wayne Rabbit

Joseph Rabbit passed away suddenly on Friday, April 10, 2020 at the age of 42 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his children Josie Sinclair (Scott), Jordan Rabbit, Shane Rabbit and Chaylene Rabbit; grandchildren Sienna, Ronan, Shelton and Ava; brother Terrence (Sharon) Rabbit; sister Angie Rabbit (Harvie); nephews Taron and Tye; niece Sugar; ex-wife Charlene; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Joyce Rabbit; father Leslie Bearhead; brother Leslie; sister Crystal; maternal grandparents Eliza & Willie Rabbit; paternal grandparents Clara & Stony Bearhead; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Joseph was born in Edmonton, AB and raised on the Paul Band Reserve. When he was 19 he met and married Charlene and made Calgary their home where they were blessed with 4 children. Joseph loved his family. He also had an artistic side and enjoyed making dream catchers and drawing.

A private family service will be held for Joseph. If friends so desire, donation may be made in memory of Joseph to the Calgary Drop-In Centre (www.calgarydropin.ca/donate).
