Jose Esporlas Reyes

Jose Reyes was born on December 27, 1949 in Manila, Philippines. He was a Registered Nurse at Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital where he met his wife, Teresita Igno. Jose was a loving father, and grandfather. Jose loved to joke around. He enjoyed nature, cycling, and was a good handyman around the house.

Jose is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Teresita Reyes; his children TJ Andrew (Anna Marie) Reyes, and Julia (John Paul) Chua; grandchildren, Josh Reyes, and Ella Therese Chua; siblings, Federico (Richelle) Reyes Jr., Arnold (Mary Grace) Reyes, Niña (Alex) Peña, all from Manila, Philippines. Jose was predeceased by his eldest daughter, Jolina Marie Reyes; and sister, Teresita Rule.

A public visitation will take place at Pierson’s Funeral Service Chapel (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Thursday, December 30 at 5:00pm to 7:00pm.

Funeral Service will tale place at Pierson’s Funeral Service Chapel (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Friday, December 31 at 11:00am with graveside to follow at Eden Brook Cemetery.

Due to the City of Calgary Bylaw, vaccination QR codes, negative COVID test or an exemption letter along with photo ID are required for attendance.
