Joleen Faye Keillor

On Saturday, September 26, 2026, Joleen Faye Keillor of Calgary, Alberta passed away at the age of 63 years.

Born on August 12, 1963, in Fort Saint John, British Columbia, to Selma and Kenneth Keillor, Joleen lived a life defined by adventure, compassion, and a free spirit. Having spent many of her formative years growing up abroad, she developed a lifelong passion for travel and a deep appreciation for learning about other cultures.

In her early career, Joleen found fulfillment working in hospitals as a surgical processor. Her caring nature also shone brightly through her dedication to humanitarian work, a calling that allowed her to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others around the world.

Joleen was the proud mother of her daughter, Samantha, who was born in Calgary. Together, Joleen and Samantha shared a love for the world, spending their lives traveling abroad and exploring new horizons. Joleen cared deeply for her daughter and her grandchildren, always striving to be as active and present in their lives as possible. She also held a very special place in her heart for her beloved dog, Marly, whom she loved deeply.

Joleen’s adventurous soul, generous heart, and love for her family will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew her.

Joleen is survived by her loving daughter, Samantha and her husband Joshua Blinn of Calgary; two grandchildren, Carter Blinn, Makenna Blinn, both of Calgary; siblings, Perry Keillor and his wife Abby of Calgary, Jessie Douglas and her husband Walter Wymer of Lethbridge, Alberta, Charleen Keillor of Lethbridge, Alberta, Merlin Keillor and his wife Faith of Armstrong, British Columbia; her cousin Kimberly Ann; and her separated husband David Beddard.

Joleen is predeceased by her parents Joy and Ken Keillor, and her daughter's father Jimmy Singh.

There will not be a formal service. Cremation at the Foothills Crematorium.
