John Elwood Miller

John Miller passed away peacefully at his home on Friday May 24, 2019 at the age of 68 years.
He is pre-deceased by his parents, James Miller and Lillian Barnes; 2 brothers, Tommy and Billy; a sister, Dorie and two brothers-in-law, George and Wayne. John is survived by his siblings, Bea Himmler, Audrey Risso, Grace (Craig) Hayes, Muriel, Kathy (James) LaChance and Charlene (Todd) Cooper; a brother-in-law, Wayne Westbury as well as numerous nieces, nephews and a large extended family.
John was a private person. He was organized, scheduled and liked to follow a routine. He possessed an exceptional work ethic. He was a distributor for a publication company for 32 years and did not miss a day of work! John was well liked by his co-workers, always willing to pick up shifts so that others can spend time with their families.
In his spare time, John liked horse racing and trying his luck at the casino.
He was kind, loving and very generous. He will be missed by many.
A Celebration of John’s Life will take place at 35 Silhouette Way, Rockyview County on Saturday June 29 at 1:00pm
