Joel Pascual passed away peacefully on Friday August 23, 2019 at the age of 55 years with his loving wife, Lyn by his side.
Joel was born in Isabela, Philippines and was the youngest of 5 siblings. He immigrated to Canada in 1994, first to Montreal before settling in Calgary in 2007.
He is survived by his wife, Analyn; sons, Ken, Wilfred and Brian; his mother in the Philippines and three brothers, Arsenio, Nardo, and twin brother, Noel. He is pre-deceased by his father and sister.
Joel was a hardworker who enjoyed his work in the aviation industry for many years. More recently, he was working in the retail industry.
He was very sociable and outgoing and he loved to chat. Joel was friendly and personable and was able to make friends instantly. He loved having visitors so that he can prepare delicious meals for them. He was very active and involved in his church.
Joel took pride in his appearance. He liked to look good! He also loved shopping especially when he could get a good deal.
In his spare time, Joel enjoyed many outdoor activities including skiing and biking. He loved doing yard work, maintaining a beautiful garden and tending to his flowers and vegetables.
A Funeral Service will be held for Joel at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 12:00pm. Visitation will begin at 10.
Graveside Service will be at Rockyview Garden of Peace (243208 Garden Road) following the service.
