Jodie Russell passed away on Wednesday September 16, 2020 at the age of 49 years.
Jodie was born in Oshawa, Ontario to Gary and Mary Russell and grew up in and around Havelock, ON. Jodie began figure skating at a young age and continued her talent through her teens and young adulthood. Competitive skating provided her with an opportunity to travel and see much of Canada. Jodie studied social work and took her first job in British Columbia before taking employment in Calgary as a Social Worker for Alberta Health Services. She met Kent Stephens and they were married in 2008.
Jodie is survived by her parents, Gary and Mary; 2 brothers and many extended family in Ontario. She is pre-deceased by her husband, Kent.
A private family graveside will take place at Rockyview Garden of Peace Cemetery.
