Jessie Inez Hamilton
June 30, 1924 — November 12, 2020
It is with great sadness that the family of Jessie Hamilton announce her passing on November 12, 2020 with her daughters, Margaret and Joan by her side. Jessie was 96 years of age.
She had a long and good life up to the last year. She made lots of friends wherever she went. She lived at Water Grove Park for 25 years.
She leaves behind her daughters, Margaret & Joan; grandchildren, DJ Cairns & Bobbie (Sam) McBride; great-grandchildren, Skyler (Kate) McBride & Brodie McBride; great-greatgrandchildren, Tagg & Emry McBride; sister-in-law, Jean Miller & Gladys Hamilton. Jessie will also be remembered by her extended family of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Jim; son-in-law, Larry Cairns; and sister, Estelle Dodd.
The family wishes sincere thanks to the doctors and staff of Unit 36 at Special Services Building of the Foothills Medical Centre for the good care she received in the short time she was there.
At Jessie’s request, there will be no service. Donations may be made to The Veterans Food Bank of Calgary.
