Jeff Desrochers passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at the age of 60 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Deanne (Sal) Mancuso; granddaughters Ava and Camille; sisters, Debbie (Rick) Thompson of Langley, BC, Jeannine (Jeffrey) Barrett of Winnipeg, MB and Pam (Jim) Hannah of Edmonton, AB; brother Doug Desrochers of ON; the Sytsema family who considered him to be a brother and son; and many more family and friends. He was predeceased by his wife of 30 years Jenny and parents Denis & Phyllis Desrochers. Jeff was born and raised in Winnipeg, MB. In his early teens, he began traveling all over Canada until he met the love of his life Jenny in Calgary, which has been his home ever since. Jeff was a welder for more than 30 years. He loved fishing, golfing and playing pool. A Memorial Service will be held to honour Jeff at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel, 4121 17 Avenue SE, on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. If friends so desire, donations may be made to Carewest Sarcee through the Calgary Health Trust, www.calgaryhealthtrust.ca.
