Jean Vaughan Rands

RANDS, Jean Vaughan (nee Mongomery) December 21, 1925 May 9, 2012 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our precious mother and grandmother. Jean was born December 21, 1925 and passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2012. She is survived by her two daughters Judy Evans (Cliff) and Jenny Croft both of Calgary and her two sons John Keall of Terrace BC and Jim Rands (Connie) of Calgary. Jean is also survived by her grandchildren Fraser Keall, George Croft, Kenny Croft and Niki Croft and great grandchild Josh Merkel as well as many other extended family. She was predeceased by her parents Tom and Emily Mongomery; her brother Fraser; son-in-law Doug Merkel; and her grandson Douglas Merkel. Services will be held at a later date. Donations may be made in Jean’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Society of Calgary #201, 222 58 Avenue SW, Calgary AB, T2H 2S3 or to a charity of one’s choice.
