Jean Lesley Janzen (nee Westfall)

Jean Janzen passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024 at the age of 69 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 20 years Terry; children Stephanie (Michael) Hurd, Michael (Ashley) Janzen, Benjamin (Jason) Moore, and Aron (Christille) Janzen; grandchildren Shannon, Colby, Perrin, Henry, Demetri and Mauve; and many more family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Leslie & Gertrude Westfall, bothers Dennis Wesfall and Douglas Westfall and daughter Sara Janzen-Bob. 
Jean was born in Wainwright, AB. Her father was in the military, so she was raised in many places, including multiple locations in Canada and Germany. Her High School years were spent in Dartmouth, NS and then lived in BC and Ontario until finally settling in Calgary. She worked in many different businesses but ultimately spent much of her working years as a customer service Lead for Canadian Airlines and then Air Canada. In her youth Jean enjoyed all things sports participating in gymnastics, cross country running and basketball. In her later years she fell in love with scrapbooking and crafting. In 2004 she met and shortly thereafter married the love her life Terry. She loved joining his family and becoming a mother to his 5 children. 
The family wish to express their gratitude to the staff of Bethany Calgary and Foothills Hospital for their kind and compassionate care. 
A Memorial Service will be held for Jean at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - 44th Street Chapel (833 - 44 Street SE, Calgary) on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Rocky View Garden of Peace Cemetery.
