Irene “Kristine” Derksen

Kristine (Irene) Derksen passed away on Tuesday March 13, 2018 at the age of 64 years. She will be missed by her daughters Charmane (John) Lalic of Calgary and Gennifer Holland (Benjamin Powell) of Seattle, as well as her brothers Wade (Arlene) Bourne, Doran (Wanda) Bourne, and Bruce Bourne. Kristine was a kind and sweet woman who everyone called “Mom”. She loved Hello Kitty and all things cute, fuzzy and pink. She enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping, and watching home improvement and police shows. A Visitation will be held for Kristine at Pierson’s Funeral Service (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Monday March 19 at 3:00 p.m. Graveside Services will follow on Tuesday March 20, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in Magrath, Alberta.
