Ian Craig Alexson

On Wednesday, July 7, 2021, Mr. Ian Craig Alexson, beloved son of Darlene Alexson and Raymond Lerat, of Calgary, Alberta passed away at the age of 51 years.
Craig was a proud member of Kahkewistahaw band. He will always remain in our hearts. Craig had a great love for music. He was fiercely independent and marched to the beat of his own drum. We’ll always remember his love of everything related to the Calgary Stampede. He greatly enjoyed meals with family in happier days. Craig was a unique questioning spirit. Many people found Craig easy to talk to and he enjoyed their company. His easy going smiles and genuine interest in people will be sorely missed. In more recent times he was beset by persistent health problems.
Besides his parents, Craig will be remembered by his sisters Christine Alexson-Harry and her husband Ron, Carol Alexson and her partner Nick; his brother Clay Alexson and his partner Rachel, as well as his many nieces and nephew.
Those wishing to pay their respects may attend Craig’s memorial ceremony at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 from Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel, 4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary, Alberta.
