Hujmati Lal

LAL, Hujmati July 25, 1939 – May 7, 2013 Hujmati Lal passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at the Foothills Hospital at the age of 73 years. She will be dearly missed by her husband of 59 years Murari Lal; their eight children and their families Madhu Prakash (Jai) of Calgary, Mohini Prasad (Chandrika), Nand Kishor (Rita) and Sant Lal (Usha) all of Sydney, Austrailia, Rasik Lal (Suman) of Vatukoula, Fiji, Prem Prasad (Rupsen), Rohini Chand (Pramod) and Satish Lal (Rima), all of Calgary; and 17 grandchildren. Mrs. Lal was the eldest of 13 children and is survived by eight brothers and two sisters. Mrs. Lal has been a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, her encouragement of others and the joy that she spread. She was a wonderful example by her devotion to her religion, her hard work and the loving care she gave to her family.
