SCHAU, Hjordis Nelly April 16, 1914 May 13, 2012
Hjordis Nelly Schau passed away peacefully on May 13, 2012. Her children; Mikkel (Ann), Sys (Tom), Ansa (Bob) and Coco (Toshi); her grandchildren Tadzio, Zacharie, Torben, Kaja, Jason, Kasel and Kory; and great grandchildren Elsa, Annika and Isaac will miss her optimism, graciousness, elegance and all her wonderful love. She was born on April 16, 1914, in Copenhagen, Denmark and settled with her beloved husband Paul (predeceased) by the river in Bowness and made it a place of friendship celebrated with coffee. She especially enjoyed wandering in our local mountain with shared friends. Hjordis loved the excitement of travel and circumnavigated the world many times. She will be missed sorely. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Thanks to her caregivers. Messages of condolence may be forwarded to the family at www.piersons.ca.
