Helen Lee passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at the age of 78 years.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Helen Fung Lee on Thursday, February 13, 2025, a loving sister, dedicated educator, and a kind and caring soul. Helen was the middle child of three sisters and lived a life filled with quiet strength, independence, and deep compassion for those around her.

Born with a curious mind and a love for learning, Helen graduated from the University of Taiwan with a degree in Biology. Her passion for education led her to Hong Kong, where she spent many fulfilling years teaching junior high school students in grades 7 to 9. She inspired countless young minds, sharing her knowledge with a heart full of patience and understanding.

Helen's love for the ocean was a central part of her life, as it symbolized her deep sense of peace and tranquility. She cherished the quiet moments she spent by the water, reflecting on the world around her. Known for her thoughtful and caring nature, Helen always went above and beyond to lend a helping hand to others, whether through small gestures or meaningful support.

Her apartment was a reflection of her meticulous nature-always neat, organized, and filled with warmth. Her generosity and kindness were evident in every aspect of her life, and she touched the hearts of all who knew her. A woman of faith, Helen was a devout Christian who loved to study the word of God and grow in her relationship with Christ.

Helen found joy in the small things, like enjoying milk tea, where she formed lasting friendships. Her caring spirit, generosity, and deep thoughtfulness will always be remembered by those fortunate enough to have known her.

Helen is survived by several wonderful friends. She was predeceased by her parents, and her two sisters.

A Graveside Service will be held for Helen at Queen's Park Cemetery (3219 - 4 Street NW, Calgary) on Monday, March 31, 2025 at 10:00 am.
